Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019)

Genre: Horror
MTRCB Rating: R-13
MMPA Rating: Rated PG-13 for terror/violence, disturbing images, thematic elements, language including racial epithets, and brief sexual references.

It is very rare for a horror movie with a combination of children's film a success.

The film was released in the cinemas. But I didn't get the chance to watch the movie in the cinemas.

The movie is okay. The acting is okay. There are certain scenes have jump scares.

I didn't expected that very small twist.

Ready or Not (2019)

Genre: Comedy, Horror, Thriller, Suspense, Mystery

MTRCB Rating: R-16
MPAA: Rated R for violence, bloody images, language throughout, and some drug use.

The film is good. The movie is enjoyable. Okay yung acting. The comedy is okay.

The Good Liar (2019)

"The Good Liar" isn't that good, but is not that bad, either.

Although, their performances of Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren are okay.

I didn't expected the twist in the ending.

Tolkien (2019)

The film is focuses on the life of J. R. R. Tolkien as a student, during the war, and after the war.

Okay naman yung acting nila Nichlas Hoult and Lily Collins.

Detective Pikachu (2019 film)

Enjoyable naman para sa akin ang movie na ito. Okay naman yung acting ni Justine Smith.

Ryan Reynolds is great in portraying Pikachu. I didn't expected the "twist" in the film.

1917 (2019 film)

I don't remember the war movies I watched before except "Saving Private Ryan" and "The Pianist". And I do admit that I'm not a fan of war films, but "1917" is great.

Sam Mendes' direction is great. I like the cinematography.

This movie is second film I watched in one continuous shot. The first being "Birdman."

Little Women (2019 film)

Saoirse Ronan is fantastic in the Greta Gerwig film. At the first few scenes of the movie, I got consider l confused.

I read that Greta Gerwig did liberties on movie, from the source novel.

I still can't get over with Timothee Chalamet from being dreamy from the film "Lady Bird", until to this movie.
